For the good of his kingdom, he would do anything.
Ganondorf, named for his forebear, and his forebear's forebear, had carried his namesake and all of the weight associated with it, for many years. His throne had been a pressure meant to make or break him--and he would always, always rise to the challenges presented.
The crown weighed nothing, compared to the comfort of his people.
So, yes--even when they ask of him something he is reluctant to do...like take a bride, in an arranged marriage, to open up their borders and secure trade with Hyrule--He will comply. He will not complain. He will raise his head high, and welcome the envoy that brings her...
Zelda. A princess, in her own right. Blessed with divinity by the Gods, or so the Hylians say.
What she truly is does not matter. Because Ganondorf bows his head, takes a knee, and presses a charming kiss to the back of the dainty woman's hand.
"Sav'vasa, Princess." He calls, seeking emerald eyes politely, and with a hint of curiosity. "I hope that your journey was pleasant enough, even through the sands. It is an honor to meet you."
